The Faculty of the History and Philosophy of Medicine and Pharmacy of the Worshipful Society of Apothecaries of London is holding a three day course in the History of Medicine on 1st-3rd February 2012.  The course includes 15 speakers and covers Ancient, Classical, Eastern and Western medicine and the development of modern medicine from its early roots through to the present world, looking at surgery, war, diagnosis, general practice, hospitals, public health etc.
